Terms of Service

PesoHero is a tool for tracking what you own. It is not a bank, not a broker, and not a financial adviser.
1. Who these terms are with
These terms are an agreement between you and Quelbits, an independent software developer in the Philippines. Using PesoHero means you accept them. If you do not, do not use the app.
2. What PesoHero is
PesoHero records financial information that you enter yourself and shows you summaries of it, including your net worth, allocation, budgets, and projections. It does not move money, hold money, or connect to your bank. Nothing in the app is a transaction.
3. Not financial advice
Everything the app shows you, including projections, targets, and calculator results, is informational. It is not investment, tax, or legal advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Rates and figures such as MP2 dividend rates and exchange rates are estimates based on published or third-party data and may be out of date or wrong. Decisions about your money are yours. Consult a licensed professional before acting on anything you see here.
4. Your data is your responsibility too
The numbers in PesoHero are the numbers you type in. We cannot verify them, and the app is only as accurate as what you enter.
If you use the app as a guest, your data is stored only on your device. If you delete the app, lose the device, or clear its storage, that data is gone permanently and we have no copy to restore. Signing in and syncing is what gives you a backup.
5. Your account
You must be at least 18, or old enough to enter a contract where you live. Keep your sign-in credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Give us accurate information when you register.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law with the app, including money laundering or fraud;
- try to access another person's data or our systems without authorisation;
- reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service;
- resell or redistribute the app or its content.
7. Free and paid features
PesoHero has a free tier and a paid tier, PesoHero Pro. Some Pro features may be visible before they are on sale. Where a purchase is made through the App Store or Google Play, that store's payment terms and refund policy apply, and refunds are handled by them. Where a purchase is made directly through our website, the terms shown at checkout apply. We may change prices and what each tier includes; changes will not affect a subscription period you have already paid for.
8. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We may deliver updates to the app automatically. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using PesoHero and delete your account at any time from inside the app. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. On deletion, your synced data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Liability
The app is provided "as is". To the fullest extent Philippine law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for financial losses arising from decisions you made using the app or from inaccurate data, whether entered by you or obtained from a third-party source. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or wilful misconduct. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cavite, Philippines.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use PesoHero after that means you accept the new terms.
